Nigel Milway


Nigel has a passion for people, leadership, change and results, with a strong belief in people’s potential.

Nigel’s long and distinguished corporate career, which culminated in the position of Director at BT, gave him strong leadership experience, building successful new businesses, delivering large-scale investment and strategic change programmes. It also provided him with the opportunity to nurture and develop people and teams across functions as diverse as operations, sales, performance improvement, technology and programme management.

Nigel actually realised that his greatest pleasure is to help people understand their life, career and business goals and then achieve what they want. He started his mentoring and coaching career at BT and has since acquired a strong reputation for helping individuals, businesses and organisations to achieve their goals, working with a wide range of individuals and organisations all the way to Board level.

A Certified Leadership Coach (ICF accredited - ACTP), he now spearheads Change Leadership, the company he founded in 2005, bringing personal integrity, warmth and belief to his work, with optimism and commitment to results.

Married with three children, Nigel enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and his personal interests include going to the theatre, travel (as much as possible - to as many places as possible), personal learning and development and giving something back.

He is much involved with voluntary work and currently leads the implementation of a development plan for his home town. He is also a non-executive director for a small specialist charity which makes expert emergency feeding and nutrition expertise available worldwide.

Carolyn Dawson

Carolyn is passionate about people living fulfilled and successful lives, whatever that looks like for them.

Carolyn successfully combines family life with a rewarding career.  Her 20-year corporate life at BT provided her with extensive experience as an IT professional and business manager, the variety of roles she held, from IT analyst to Team Leader to Programme Manager, giving her a great sense of what individuals and teams need to succeed. Carolyn qualified as a professional coach whilst at BT and spent 18 months there as an internal coach to IT professionals and senior executives.

Carolyn is now a seasoned coach, mentor, coach trainer and workshop leader, her first-hand experience of the corporate world enabling her to connect with clients' challenges and cultures. Holder of the CPCC (Certified Professional Coactive Coach) qualification, a certified Trainer for the 'Coaching Clinic' and the 'Coaching for Leadership' introduction course, and certified by the ICF as an Associate Certified Coach, she has worked with more than fifty clients over five hundred coaching hours, sharing with all her enthusiasm for achieving a balanced life at work, at home and in all aspects of their life. She believes in a world where leaders and managers resonate with their people and achieve extraordinary results, where parents nurture their children in every way and where relationships with loved ones flourish.

A firm believer in strong family values, outside of her work Carolyn most enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her children, sharing her love of cooking and exercising to keep her energy level high.

Nick Harris


Nick’s personal vision is to inspire compassionate leadership in order to achieve high performance and sustainable organisations.

Nick’s varied and rich background across training, business, IT, stress counselling and training puts him in a strong position to share his experiences and help people. During his 18-year corporate career, Nick has led a number of large teams, setting strategy, managing performance issues and running customer events for the Government’s Education sector. In the area of Project Management he has delivered a £250K reference model, and a technology intelligence project to support venturing which resulted in a £1.2 million investment. More recently Nick successfully led a Customer Challenge Team to develop coaching across BT, and piloted a Stress Assessment and Management tool in an organisation of 12,000 people to improve employee engagement.

Now an enthusiastic leadership coach, his extensive experience of working in corporate environments has given him the foundation to coach a diverse international client base, ranging from MBA graduates to senior managers and executives in global organisations. During the past ten years he has worked with Cranfield Management School on leadership and management development programmes. Nick’s wide ranging experience and training enables him to readily connect with his clients’ challenges and support them in realising their leadership potential.

Nick specialises in career coaching, taking pride in supporting people through career and life transitions. He aims to make the coaching process enjoyable and fun whilst creating a context of rich personal learning to enable his clients to identify and achieve their personal and career goals.

Nick is a Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has been awarded the ICF designation Associate Certified Coach (ACC). He is also an accredited career coach and stress counsellor.

Married with three teenage children, Nick lives in a cottage near the Suffolk coast which connects him with his love of the countryside and his passion for the sea. He is also a highly experienced yachtsman and navigator, as much at home on a windsurfer as on an ocean going yacht.

Sukhy Bains

Sukhy’s passion is to help people lead empowered and passionate lives.

A business woman of Indian origin, whose corporate career span 20 successful years at giant BT, she sees tackling challenges as the foundation of her life experiences. A committed, confident individual with pride in achieving excellent results, Sukhy is energised by people that want to make positive changes in their lives. Having overcome many life challenges herself, she is keen to share her knowledge and experience to support individuals to become more successful, effective and happier in all areas of their lives. This mother of two is also a keen sportswoman having played squash at County level and gets immense pleasure from outdoor physical activities such as walking, skiing and golf.

After years in various roles in marketing, web development, resource management becoming a coach and mentor seemed a better fit for Sukhy, who started her successful coaching career in 2002 after graduating from a Psychology degree and whilst still at BT. Sukhy is now an experienced & ICF accredited Leadership Coach, skilled in coaching across gender and cultural backgrounds at various management levels. With an unwavering passion to bring out the best in people she has been particularly successful in helping individuals gain clarity and confidence in finding direction for themselves and their people. She is also a coach trainer with experience in running coaching workshops and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) thereby committed to adhering to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Able to coach in Punjabi, Sukhy has extensive hands-on experience of the cultural issues affecting individuals and families, and is determined to help ethnic minorities lead more fulfilled business and personal lives.

Maureen Milway

Maureen‘s ambition is that people believe in themselves and realise their potential whilst achieving a balance between life and work


Maureen’s education background, coupled with excellent organisational skills, a unique ability to innovate and a warm personality puts her in a strong position to support the team and create the right environment for everybody’s mentoring and coaching skills to flourish.

Maureen is a role model for all working women, having successfully managed to balance her 30 year career in secondary education with raising children – never compromising either role.

Through her dedication and innovation - creating new curricula and developing mentoring systems - her students have achieved amazing academic results over the years.  As Head of Year for over 20 years she has focused on enabling young people to overcome any barriers which might prevent them from achieving their potential in all aspects of their lives.

Maureen’s approach has always involved going the extra mile and never giving up on anyone. She has worked with many young people and their parents to support family struggles, tragedies and other external factors.  Her key objective is always to help people achieve a level of self-belief that will support achievement of their dreams, overcome their challenges, and live happy and fulfilled lives.

An excellent organiser and a passionate believer in giving back to society she has galvanised fund raising in every school she has worked in raising tens of thousands of pounds for local, national and international organisations. In the process she has also raised awareness of those less fortunate in the world.

Maureen devotes a lot of her time to her close and extended family.  She is an avid reader of fiction of all types, an enthusiastic theatregoer and a great hostess and cook. She loves to travel anywhere (and everywhere) in the world.
